1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using FinanceMY's financial literacy courses and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, courses, materials, and all related services provided by FinanceMY ("we," "us," or "our").

If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. We reserve the right to change these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes made to these terms.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of our service, you must register for an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by our registration form.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

4. Course Enrollment and Payment

Course enrollment is subject to availability and our acceptance of your registration. Payment is required at the time of enrollment unless otherwise specified. All prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include applicable taxes.

We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and online banking transfers. Payment processing is handled through secure, encrypted systems to protect your financial information.

Refund Policy

• Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the course start date
• 50% refund available 3-7 days before the course start date
• No refunds available within 3 days of course start date
• Refunds for digital content are available within 14 days if less than 25% of content has been accessed

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All course materials, content, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and intellectual property provided through our services are owned by FinanceMY or our licensors. This includes but is not limited to text, graphics, images, audio files, video content, software, and course curricula.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our materials solely for your personal educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any of our content without our prior written consent.

6. User Conduct and Responsibilities

As a user of our services, you agree to conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner. You will not engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our services or other users' experience.

Prohibited Activities

• Sharing account credentials or allowing unauthorized access to your account
• Recording, copying, or distributing course content without permission
• Using our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harassing, intimidating, or threatening other users or staff
• Submitting false or misleading information during registration or course participation
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

7. Course Attendance and Participation

Regular attendance and active participation are essential for successful course completion. For in-person courses, you are expected to arrive on time and attend all scheduled sessions. For online courses, you must complete all required modules within the specified timeframe.

We reserve the right to remove participants who consistently disrupt classes, fail to meet attendance requirements, or violate our code of conduct. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

Course schedules may occasionally change due to unforeseen circumstances. We will provide reasonable notice of any changes and offer alternative arrangements when possible.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FinanceMY shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government regulations, pandemic, or other similar events.

In the event of force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users and provide alternative arrangements or reschedule services when possible.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate your account by contacting us directly. We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
